Pokémon TCG Pocket's next limited-time expansion, Deluxe Pack: Mega (B4b), is almost here. Rather than introducing a traditional new set of competitive cards, the new Deluxe Pack focuses heavily on previously released cards from the B Series, giving players another opportunity to fill gaps in their collections while also chasing exclusive new artwork and parallel foil variants. Every booster contains four cards and is guaranteed to include a Pokémon ex.
What Is Included in Deluxe Pack: Mega?
According to the official announcement, Deluxe Pack: Mega includes cards originally introduced in previous expansions ranging from Mega Rising through Ruler of the Skies. Most importantly, every ♦♦♦♦ card from those expansions is being reissued in the new Deluxe Pack. This makes B4b very different from a normal expansion. Already Own Most Pokémon ex? Consider Skipping

For a free-to-play player who already owns virtually every relevant Pokémon ex, Deluxe Pack: Mega becomes much more of a collector-focused expansion. The new ★ and ★★ cards and parallel foil variants are attractive, but they do not necessarily make your decks stronger if you already own the original versions. With a new series approaching after B4b, saving Pack Hourglasses could therefore provide significantly more gameplay value than chasing alternate artwork.

However, the value changes dramatically once you already own those cards.
