Guide

This Itachi Tsukuyomi Army deck turns Pin from a simple control mechanic into an engine for creating additional attackers.

Itachi Uchiha – Tsukuyomi Army is the centerpiece of the strategy. While Itachi is active, whenever you Pin rival cards, he summons a clone of himself in the same lane with Rush(4s) and loses 1 Chakra. These clones cannot score base hits or gain Chakra, but they can still create immediate pressure and force the opponent to deal with an increasingly crowded board.

That completely changes the purpose of the deck's Pin effects. Cards that would normally only stop or delay an opponent can now simultaneously trigger Tsukuyomi Army and add another Itachi clone to the lane.

The deck therefore combines cheap Pin effects with additional summoning tools such as Naruto – Shadow Clone Jutsu and Oboro – Fog Clone. The goal is to keep producing bodies, disrupt rival cards and overwhelm the opponent across multiple lanes.

Tsukuyomi Army does require careful management because every activation costs the original Itachi 1 Chakra. The deck is strongest when you choose your Pin effects carefully instead of triggering the engine without considering how much Chakra Itachi has left.

The result is a unique control and swarm strategy where every Pin can potentially become another Itachi.

Strategy — how the deck works

The main goal is to establish Itachi Uchiha – Tsukuyomi Army and then use your Pin effects to repeatedly trigger his summoning ability.

While Tsukuyomi Army is active, whenever you Pin rival cards, Itachi summons a clone of himself in the same lane with Rush(4s) and loses 1 Chakra. This means Pin is both disruption and a way to generate additional board presence.

Your cheap Pin cards are especially important because they allow you to activate the engine without committing too many resources. Naruto Uzumaki – Sexy Jutsu, for example, can Pin a lane rival in Mid Range for 4 seconds while also potentially triggering another Tsukuyomi Army clone.

Stronger control cards can create even more disruptive situations. Arashi – Spell of Mandala can Push and Pin the highest-Chakra rival in its lane, while also applying repeated Weaken during the Pin. This gives the deck a way to target more important threats rather than relying entirely on cheap Pin effects.

Naruto Uzumaki – Shadow Clone Jutsu and Oboro – Fog Clone support the swarm strategy from another direction. They create additional clones independently of Tsukuyomi Army, helping the deck put more bodies onto the board and pressure multiple lanes.

Remember that Tsukuyomi Army clones cannot score base hits or gain Chakra. Their purpose is therefore not to replace your normal scoring threats. Use them to contest lanes, create encounters, occupy the opponent and generate pressure while your regular cards continue advancing the actual win condition.

Chakra management on the original Itachi is critical. Every Tsukuyomi Army activation costs him 1 Chakra, so repeatedly triggering Pin without considering his remaining Chakra can eventually reduce the value of your centerpiece.

The ideal sequence is to establish Itachi, protect his Chakra where possible and then time your Pin effects when the resulting clone will create meaningful pressure. The deck becomes especially difficult to manage when the opponent is simultaneously dealing with Pin, Tsukuyomi Army clones and your other summoned units.

Strengths

  • Pin effects generate both control and board presence
  • Can create multiple Itachi clones from a single central engine
  • Strong lane pressure
  • Excellent synergy between Pin and summoning
  • Multiple ways to generate additional bodies
  • Cheap Pin cards can efficiently trigger Tsukuyomi Army
  • Can disrupt dangerous rival cards while developing its own board
  • Creates unusual board states that can be difficult for opponents to manage
  • Strong snowball potential once Tsukuyomi Army is established
  • Distinct control and swarm playstyle

Weaknesses

  • The deck relies heavily on Tsukuyomi Army for its main engine
  • Each Tsukuyomi Army activation costs the original Itachi 1 Chakra
  • Tsukuyomi Army clones cannot score base hits
  • Tsukuyomi Army clones cannot gain Chakra
  • Poorly timed Pin effects can waste clone value
  • The engine needs Itachi to remain active
  • Generating many clones does not automatically create a win condition
  • Requires careful Chakra management
  • Can lose significant momentum if the main Itachi is removed early

Matchup & gameplay notes

Do not treat every available Pin as an automatic Tsukuyomi Army trigger. Consider whether the resulting clone will actually create useful pressure and how much Chakra the original Itachi can afford to lose.

Try to establish Tsukuyomi Army before using your most valuable Pin effects. Once Itachi is active, the same control effects can provide both disruption and additional board presence.

Cheap Pin cards are excellent for starting the engine. They can temporarily stop rival cards while creating another rushing Itachi clone without requiring a large commitment.

Use stronger Pin effects against high-value rival cards. Arashi – Spell of Mandala is particularly useful when you need to control a dangerous high-Chakra threat while simultaneously feeding the Tsukuyomi Army engine.

Remember that your Itachi clones cannot score base hits. Do not mistake a crowded board for guaranteed scoring pressure. Your normal cards still need opportunities to reach the rival base.

Naruto – Shadow Clone Jutsu and Oboro – Fog Clone can add even more bodies to the board without consuming Tsukuyomi Army's Chakra. Use these cards to increase lane pressure while preserving the original Itachi when necessary.

Rush(4s) on newly summoned Tsukuyomi Army clones means they can enter the action quickly. Consider which lane you are triggering Pin in, because the clone appears in that same lane.

Against aggressive decks, Pin can buy valuable time while the clones help contest the board. Against slower decks, repeated summons can create enough lane pressure to make it difficult for the opponent to establish their preferred setup.

The key to the deck is balance: Pin enough rival cards to generate meaningful Tsukuyomi Army value, but do not drain Itachi's Chakra simply to create clones that accomplish very little.
