1. Establish Battle Plan
Kakashi – Battle Plan is the engine, so the strongest version of the deck begins once Kakashi is active.
Rather than immediately spending every AoE Weaken effect available, consider whether you can preserve an important one until Battle Plan is established.
Once Kakashi is active, your Weaken cards are no longer only control tools.
They become Chakra generators as well.
2. Multi-Target Weaken Creates the Biggest Payoffs
This is the central deckbuilding principle.
A single-target Weaken can still trigger Battle Plan, but effects capable of hitting several rival cards have much higher upside.
Kyubi – Natural Disaster
Deploy to Mid Range:
Weaken(2) → ALL cards
Push(1) → all rival cards
While Kyubi remains active:
Weaken(1) → newly deployed cards
Natural Disaster therefore creates both an immediate board-wide effect and continued Weaken pressure.
The important downside remains: the initial Weaken(2) affects your cards as well, so Kyubi still requires careful timing.
Tobirama – Water Shock Wave
On deploy:
Weaken(2) → all rivals
Slow(4s) → all rivals
This is one of the cleanest Battle Plan enablers because Tobirama can affect the entire rival board without Weakening your own cards.
Against a developed board, this can create a major control and Chakra swing at the same time.
Sasuke – Fireball Jutsu
On deploy:
Weaken(2) → all rivals in Mid Range
At only 3 Chakra, Sasuke gives the deck a much cheaper way to trigger multi-target Weaken than the expensive top-end cards.
The better the opponent's Mid Range setup, the more attractive Fireball Jutsu becomes.
Kakashi – Giant Vortex Jutsu
On deploy:
Push(3) + Weaken(2) → lane rivals
Giant Vortex combines two things this deck wants:
Weaken for Battle Plan
and
Push for lane disruption.
This can simultaneously develop your engine and completely change the positioning of an important lane.
3. Stack More Weaken Pressure
Zabuza – Water Dragon Jutsu
On deploy:
Weaken(1) + Push(1) → all lane rivals in Short and Mid Range
Zabuza gives the deck another multi-target option while also moving affected rivals.
The relatively low 3-Chakra cost makes him especially useful compared with some of the expensive board-wide effects.
Naruto – Furious Punch
Deploy to Mid Range:
Weaken(2) + Push(1) → lane rivals
Another way to combine Weaken with displacement.
Furious Punch is especially useful when you want to pressure one specific lane rather than commit one of the expensive global effects.
Key Synergies
Battle Plan + Tobirama
Probably one of the cleanest combinations in the entire deck.
Tobirama
→ Weaken(2) all rivals
→ Slow(4s) all rivals
Battle Plan
→ converts those allied Weaken effects into Chakra value.
Against a wide opposing board, this is exactly the type of effect the deck wants.
Battle Plan + Natural Disaster
Natural Disaster can hit an enormous number of cards at once.
That makes it potentially one of Battle Plan's largest payoff cards.
The catch is important:
Kyubi Weakens your cards too.
So unlike Tobirama, this isn't simply an automatic value play. Board state and timing matter considerably.
Battle Plan + Fireball Jutsu
This is the cheaper version of the engine.
If multiple rival cards occupy Mid Range, Sasuke can Weaken all of them for only 3 Chakra.
That gives you a way to generate Battle Plan value without relying exclusively on expensive 5–7 cost cards.
Akamaru – Marking + Weaken
Akamaru – Marking applies:
Slow(8s) → lane rivals
While those rivals are Slowed, allied Weaken skills gain:
Weaken(+1) against the affected rivals.
That can make the deck's subsequent Weaken effects considerably more punishing.
The sequence therefore matters:
Marking first → Weaken afterward.
Utility Cards
Genma Shiranui – Alert
Genma provides additional utility around the deck's control plan and gives the list another mid-cost option instead of filling every slot with expensive AoE cards.
I would treat him as a supporting piece rather than one of the primary Battle Plan payoffs.
Naruto – Sexy Jutsu
At only 1/1, Sexy Jutsu gives the deck cheap interaction:
Pin(4s) → one lane rival in Mid Range
That matters in a list where Battle Plan, Kyubi and Tobirama already occupy expensive slots.
Not every card needs to be another large payoff.
