How Ranked Seasons Work
Each Ranked Match season lasts roughly two weeks. You climb by winning Versus matches against opponents in your tier; losses can demote you within higher brackets. Your peak rank at the end of the season determines your reward bundle and emblem — there is no penalty for stopping early once you have hit your target tier.
Master Ball is the top tier and is leaderboard-based: your final position within Master Ball determines whether you land in Top 1000, Top 5000, Top 10000 or unranked Master Ball.
Ranked Rewards Overview
Reward bundles scale with rank. Every tier rewards Pack Hourglasses and Shinedust, with higher tiers also granting exclusive emblems and bonus currency:
- Beginner 1–4 — Pack Hourglasses + Shinedust starter bundle
- Poké Ball 1–4 — Increased Pack Hourglasses + Shinedust + Poké Ball emblem
- Great Ball 1–4 — Larger Pack Hourglass bundle + Shinedust + Great Ball emblem
- Ultra Ball 1–4 — Premium Pack Hourglasses + Shinedust + Ultra Ball emblem
- Master Ball — Top-tier Pack Hourglass bundle + Shinedust + Master Ball emblem
Master Ball Rewards
Once you reach Master Ball, your final leaderboard position determines bonus rewards on top of the base Master Ball bundle:
- Master Ball (Unranked) — Master Ball emblem + base Pack Hourglass & Shinedust bundle
- Top 10000 — Bronze Master Ball emblem + bonus Pack Hourglasses & Shinedust
- Top 5000 — Silver Master Ball emblem + larger bonus bundle
- Top 1000 — Gold Master Ball emblem + maximum bonus Pack Hourglasses & Shinedust
Ranked Tips for Season 14
A few habits make the climb significantly easier. Play consistently across the two-week window instead of grinding one marathon session — daily missions stack with ranked rewards and accelerate your hourglass economy. Lock in a single Tier 1 or Tier 2 meta deck and practice it until mulligans and energy decisions are automatic; tilt and deck-swapping are the two biggest reasons players stall in Ultra Ball.
Climb early in the season while the ladder is softer, and save high-focus sessions for pushing into Master Ball during the final 72 hours when leaderboard cutoffs settle.
